Question Wirless Receiver Racking..... ?

Sign in to disble this ad
i don't want to house my wireless receiver in with an amp, because i use different amp heads for different venues.

is there a decent case out there that works well for this? some of the cases are so deep it's ridiculous. i had a soft case cut down so it's only about 12" deep, to house a processing unit and it works great but would rather find something off the shelf.

or do most of you just leave your wireless receivers unracked?

thanks!

I'm not sure if I understand you. Is it that you don't want to
rack your wireless? Or do you want to rack it?
If so, you could easily just switch the "racked" unit into whatever
amp rack you're going to use ahead of time. Something like this:

this:

this: I like this one, it's alot like my Telex rackmount with holes for your patch cords.

You get the idea. I don't know if that's what you're looking for.
I just thought that if you wanted to use a rack for your wireless,
you could put it in one of these type of accessories, and switch
it over to whatever rack you're using for your amp for that gig.
Good luck to ya!

Yes, I know I've seen some shallow SKB racks. A friend/guitarist of mine used his shallow rack to house a rack tuner and power conditioner, both of which are shallow things.

something like http://www.starmgc.com/skbshallow.html maybe

I just googled "skb shallow rack case" and came up with a bunch of results.
