Wolf Mother on Jimmy Live!

Did any body watch that last night? I was not a huge Wolf mother fan, but after watching them live it defiently sparked a new intrest... I didnt relize they were a 3 piece band and they sounded good, almost a zep / jack white sound, I will defiently check out there album now.

I find that with some other bands.... not a huge fan when you hear them on the radio, but seeing a live performance will give me a new appreciation for them, a few years ago I saw Burtan Cummings and Randy Bachman live, and from then on I have been a fan of there music, there something about seeing artists play there music live (real artists), even if it is not a style of music or band I would not normaly listen to.

I love live music!!!!!!

I didn't seem them play last night, but I do have their album. I picked it up at walmart for ten bucks. They rock pretty hard; the guys do sound a lot like the White Stripes with a bass player. Anyways, the album is def. worth checking out.

Yep,

I was so impressed I went out and bought the album.

It was so good to hear honest rock out of a group of kids. Around here it seems like all the kids listen to rap. If that is your thing, fine. It's not mine.

There may be hope for these younger generations yet!

Heheh, us Aussie's know how to rock

Seen em live over here before, maybe more than once. We've got a wicked scene coming through over here with bands such as Karnivool and COG. Kind of experimental/alternative rock. It's kickass stuff. Also bands around here like Shihad and Butterfly Effect are still kickin' it.

Now, if only emo/hardcore would go away...
