The word "******"

That word is not cool to use toward individuals that cannot help their situation. I am not a PC kinda guy, but that word makes me uncomfortable when used to describe someone that is mentally challenged because of a birth defect.

That being said, I certainly don't mind it being used to describe individuals that CAN help their situation but are super idiots, that really don't care that they ruin it for everyone else.

The guitarist or drummer that plays way too loud for the venue--******

The jerk that wants to get up and play your instrument during a set (because he thinks he is better than you)-******

The guy that uses band practice as their individual practice time-******

The band member that shows up late for setup-******

The band member that sets up their equipment and then proceeds with an hour wank session while everyone else is putting the PA together--******!!!

I had a brother who had Down Syndrome (he died last year at 55), and was pretty severely retarded. You might think that I'd be sensitive about people using the term "******," but it really doesn't bother me, except in reference to people who are really retarded. That just shows a lack of sensitivity of the user. No problem in reference to drummers, though.
