A Word Of Thanks to TB.

Sign in to disble this ad
Well, I started playing bass in Aug. 2004. I played guitar for a number of years before that so I had the general idea. Anyway, shortly after starting to play bass some friends and I had formed a classic rock cover band, and with the exception of a few personnel changes, we have been going pretty strong. Needless to say I am not the greatest bass player. Probably the hardest song I play without mod is suffergette city by bowie.

Anyway, I have had alot of help from TBers in assisting me with gear questions and solutions. Many of the question were very primary, but hey I didnt know anything at the time.

Currently I have great gear that fits my needs and I owe much gratitude to TB for the information that helped me figure out what would work best for me.

Consequently, I have become a supporting member. So thanks again TalkBass!

I grilled two burgers tonight for my wife and I - she ate one and I had the other...just one...not 4, not 5, just one...I'm getting better.

BTW, when you use a #1 clipper on your head, you lose about 40lbs off your figure....I look like a rock star now.
