Words re bass you just cannot remember

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a mental block for YEARS about the word "binding", you know, the edging around part or all of a bass. I own one with binding, I have owned several with binding over a 30 yr span. I am ALWAYS forgetting that word.

BUT that friggin' word slays me. I had to think about for over an hour before the word came to me and I could do this post-------as I sat staring at my Washburn 1984 BBR bass with red BINDING dammit! Drives me nuts!

Anyone else have a musical or instrumental word that does that to them?

I know, I know; you do but can't remember it!
