1) Mustang Sally
2) You May Be Right
3) La Grange
4) My Best Friend's Girl
5) Jenny (867-5309) |

| | Yeah, I've got the moves like Jagger. | | Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: G.R. MI | | | I'll throw Brown Eye Girl into the ring, but so far every single song mentioned is money in the bank. Perhaps the cheesiest first set ever, but chick would be up and dancing from the very first song.

Too many to list.
But the average person still loves 'em.

Cocaine
Jenny
Crossroads
Born to be Wild
La Grange
and so forth...

When people get thirstry they buy drinks. When they buy drinks they drink them. When they drink them, they get their buzz on. When they get their buzz on go back to "People dance..."
Club owners like this circle. Club owners hire the bands who get people into this circle the fastest. Which is why I agree with Phalex, these tunes make a great first set, then we can get to some of the "deep cuts" we like to play.

At least Crossroads is fun to play (the Cream version anyway). |
05-05-2011, 08:28 AM
| | | | Most of those classics you guys have mentioned we stayed away from, from day one. But yes I agree with a few. They're the crowd pleasers. A few more (in my experience at least)
Only The Good Die Young
Rock And Roll
Long Train Runnin'
Jesses Girl / Your Love / Summer of 69 Medley
Wild Nights
Twist And Shout
Livin' On A Prayer
Don't Stop Believing
I Love Rock And Roll
Jump
Unfortunately, I'm in a wedding band. I have a corporate event tonight, and weddings tomorrow and Saturday. All of these songs will be played, and loved by the crowd. But I've also done these songs aboooout 1000 times this year already. I'm QUITE over them. I'm quite sick of about 120 other songs too. These were off the top of my head.
