Would you still post on talkbass if you become famous?

Sign in to disble this ad
Let's say youve been in talkbass for awhile then you suddenly 'made it' and become a household name among musicians/rock fans etc. what would you do? assuming the members already know that you are on TB

1. Post like I used to

2. Post discreetly, try not to get into debates with other member, make sure I use spellcheck!

3. Make another account and post under that name

4. Im too cool for talkbass. Im busy touring and gettin laid

Life's been good to me so far!

Dude, I love that song. I grew up listening to Joe Walsh.

Anyways, if I become popular, I'll definitely keep posting. The experience could help some people here, anyways.

I like to believe I'd post more, but honestly, if I had rehearsals twice a week, song writing sessions, gigs, family, children, maybe some extra work on the side... I think I'd still post, but much less.
(as if I post much as it is, hehe)

Since I will never have to worry about it happening, I can safely say "yes I would". You'll never be able to prove me wrong.

Just the other day at work I mentioned I was in a new band and a coworker commented "don't forget us when you're famous". So I told them that whenever I said "And I want to thank all the little people who helped me out", he could consider himself one of the little people

I guess I'd just do like I do.

Maybe with a bit more knowledge?

Yes. I would get my own sub-forum that I would run with an iron fist. "Stay out of Keith's forum" they would say.

I'd still post, and I'd help out my TB buddies in any way I could. I'd even hope for my own forum!

As long as there were ample butt smooching I suppose I would stick around for a post or two.

Thinking about it more, I would make sure that the silver plated tour bus had an internet connection. Then I could post to TB while touring around the country. How cool would that be?

also, if i got famous i would go over to the DB forum and make fun of all the old crusties there. set them straight for being mean to all the BG guys all these years. I'll show them who's superior.
