WOULD YOU USE YOUR GF OR WIFE TO SELL A BASS ON EBAY?

We've all seen the adds with the "lovely ladies", unnaturally dressed-up, bad make-up and lighting...and the worst part...lamely holding the bass like she's actually rocking it or something. To each his/her own. IMO, it doesn't reflect well on the instruments or the ladies and does nothing to enhance an auction whatsoever, except increase the 'omg' factor. I'm not taking any moral stances here, this is a purely taste(or lack thereof) driven rant.

I wouldn't mind hearing thoughts on this, from both sides of the fence.

Nothing against them but they do look cheesy.

I could personally care less. If it's something I'm looking for, I'll check it out, with or without aforementioned female.

I suppose if I were to set a foot down on one side of the fence I'd say it was lame. The only thing you're attracting is adolescent types. Maybe the seller is trying to deflect something potentially fishy. Either way I don't buy into it.

If I thought it would help, I'd have one of my attractive daughters hold the bass - but not with extra skin showing. Others might enjoy it, but it would not be tasteful to me, nor do I think they would appreciate it.
