I have a better solution: give me your money. That way, you can decide what you need to get rid of in order to pay your mortgage.

I stand in the middle of my music room and think to myself, how much money have I spent on this stuff? Then realize I'm in five digits easilly.

My wife thinks my gear situation is excessive because I no longer gig. Whenever I see something nice on TB, she saays "Yeah, but he is probably making money with that. You aren't doing any jingles anymore. You already have two basses. That ought to be enough."

I disagree. I think I need two more basses (fretted and fretless fives) another acoustic guitar(a six string, to go with my 12),a couple of good keyboards, a good power amp, and a better mixer.

That's in addition to my current goodies , of course

I blame all of you for the hole in my wallet..

I don't think I'm at 5 figures yet... I've only bought a few items at more than $500 a pop, and only one that was almost a full grand...

But I've gotta be close...

haha

Im well into 5 figures, not gigging at the moment, but meh!

Some people buy exhorbitant cars, guns, Star Trek uniforms, shoes, gym memberships etc etc etc

It's just what you happen to spend your hard earned dollars on. You could have saved all that money and been a miserly rich miserable b***h

$0.02
