Wow there is a real singer this year on American Idol

I watched AI the other day with my daughters and I have no clue who made the cut this year, I watched little of it.

First girl was this girl, Crystal Bowersox. Wow, she can sing, can't sing?

After her was the usual SLEW of horrible to slightly above average (as in I would not mind in my band).
