Yamaha FG200 Acoustic - Trade it in?

Sign in to disble this ad
Right, I've got an FG200 acoustic that I don't play very much, and I'm thinking about selling it or trading it in to a pawn shop for an electric. Do they / Would they do this? I'm not concerned with the brand of guitar, just anything really (I've gotten into writing / recording recently after borrowing a friends electric so it seems like a good move), and how much do you think this guitar is worth? It still plays very nice, the body has some knicks and stuff on it (out of 10, it's a 7 or an 8) but otherwise it's in great shape.

Sorry to ramble. Thanks

don't go to a pawn shop...they will give you a horrible price for it...try selling it or trading it on talkbass, craigslist, harmony central classifieds, etc first...
or you could even take it to your local guitar store and trading it for an electric...

as for worth, i don't know...prepal lists the FG110 at $115 and i don't know how the FG200 compares to the 110...i would guess that its in the neighborhood of that price though
