yet another GC Rant

Ok, first let me say I'm usually one of the guys defending GC. I call tonight to see if there is anything that they can do to help me. About a moth ago I had some major gas and sold a Fender Jazz Plus to them for $400.00. I'm a regular there. After a few days, I realize I made a mistake and I call to see if I could buy back my bass for a little more than I sold it, I realize that they are not a pawn shop, but it could hurt to ask. Sadly, the bass is on hold.... They would otherwise, but....Oh well. Memorial day I'm there and they pull my bass from the back room and put it on the floor@ $799.00. The potential buyer never put any money on it. Ok, they bought it to may a profit I knew that then I sold it. I'm thinking 500.00 to get it back......

Now why I'm really disappointed. I call tonight and ask for the Manager, who's not there. I explain what I'm wanting to do, and get a lecture for the sales guy That there is a new, new policy and the price is the price....

I understand if they value one bass over a regular customer, who spends a couple grand a year, I don't agree, but I understand. But I could do without the attitude. Just a Simple I'm sorry I can't help, I don't see the Manager being able to do much, but you can give him a call on Monday at 12:00.....

I'm done

I talked to the manager and all was made right, very cool and easy to deal with. The assistant is still a pudwack, but the manager was cool. I bought the bass back!
