even if i was serious...a keyboard and a grand piano are just as easy to play, in terms of producing a note, a double bass is alot harder to play than bass guitar. and playing for extended periodos of time...weight isn't the issue here, its how hard it is to produce a sound out of each note..but i wasn't serious anyway

natselection....the piano is an incredibly difficult instrument to master...don't brush it off as "easy" the player's touch is also very important to the piano as it is to the db

maybe if you played double bass you'd be strong enough to not have to take it.

Musicians are wimps. Stop playing music. Go outdoors. Beat people up. Grrr.

You know how some guys will buy a Cadillac Escalade or a Hummer to compensate for their "insecurity"?

Maybe it's the same with bass players; DB players being the most insecure, followed by guys with double-neck/riduculous multi-string string basses, working all the way down to Tony Levin (with his 3 string bass), and, the manliest of all, Douglas Hart from from "The Jesus and Mary Chain" who only used 2 strings.

I know I'm being stupid, but silly threads deserve silly posts.
