I've had lots of quotes throughout my life that I've held onto that got me through different rough spots, or just made me think "YEAH!" and pumped new life into me. Just heard one recently that clarified my attitude towards playing when I get a gig that really means a lot to me. It's also the reason some others I know didn't get (or hold onto) the same gig.
"An amateur practices until he gets it right. A pro practices until he never gets it wrong"
I like that. And I felt like starting a powerful positive thread. Share yer quotes that have inspired! |
