Hey all -
I encourage everyone to get to Bass Player Live in L.A. this October.
Last year's event was a great hang for artists, manufacturers and players at all levels. No where else will you find such a concentration of low note masters of so many different genres. The vibe is great and everyone is accessable. The bass community has always been a tight knit group filled with amazing individuals (not all of whom are famous,) and this was very evident last year. After being part of the hub of bass activity years ago, it was great to see that vibe-wise, things had not changed.
For those of you coming in from out of town, SIR Studios is located right across the street from Amoeba Records as well, so it's a great excuse to pick up hard to find material.
I'm not affiliated with either entity. This is just an invite to be a part of a cool, bass focused event.
