OK, for the record, I actually LOVE You Tube and the concept behind it, but like any online venue, it's got its issues and annoying quirks, what are your pet peeves?

Mine: I HATE these lame videos where someone puts a song on it and it's a STATIC IMAGE throughout the entire thing, LAME!!!!

I beg to differ. Youtube is excellent for listening to music that you don't want to go through the hassle of downloading. If I want to listen to a Beatles song and I don't have that album with me right this second, I can just go on youtube, find one of those "static image" videos, which is probably going to have high-quality sound for youtube, and just go on with my work.

I think geeks need to stop taking their favourite songs and laying them over their favourite episodes of whichever anime show they're currently watching.

Although I did see a music video that someone made for "Freebird" using bits and pieces from the original, animated Transformers movie... that was pretty neat.

Absolutely! I can not believe some of the comments made there.

I like the concept of being able to add comments but there need to be some kind of moderators.

And, for the record, I'm a huge Youtube fan.

The sound quality isn't very good.

Also, youtube being presented as some sort of legitimate media venue. Maybe in a few years, but it's not there yet.

The comments people put on music videos. For example why do I go to watch some cannibal corpse video and therer is always one comment like "how can you listen to this horribly harsh violent music." WHAT DO YOU EXPECT WHEN THE BAND IS CALLED CANNIBAL CORPSE!? AND WHY ARE YOU HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE?

I hate metallica, but you dont see me going to every enter sandman video to tell everyone about it.

The other thing I hate is the totally retarded crap on there. Random videos of totally stupid stuff. I wish it had a feature where I could turn off comments for all videos. I dont want to read em, but sometimes out the corner of my eye, I see something totally retarded.
