I'm off sick today so thought I'd entertain myself reading your stories...
I sold an MIA fretless jazz that I've regretted since the day it left my house.
What's the one bass or equipment you wish you'd never sold

Roscoe LG3000. I still get sick to my stomach every time I think about it. Thanks...

My first "real" bass. A '78 Precision I bought new.

People always ask why I sold my Warwick Dolphin Pro 5 string. Simply put, it had 5 strings on what seemed like a 4 string neck. Too crowded, and no tonal control. Just THUNDER. I couldn't live with it being just wall art.

So no, I don't regret that. I regret selling my Squier CV P Bass! I got it when I traded in some old gear at GC. I never liked P's, I'm a Jazz guy. But the Fiesta Red was so pretty. I was blown away. But like a jackass, I got GAS, and sold it off. Dumb mistake because I never got what I was GASing for. I lost interest in it. And now I'm CV-less! For now...

I also miss my Stingray 5, but the quality for the price of the CV is outstanding.

My first bass, a blue Lotus P-bass. New in '85 for, I think $160. I still roam pawn shops in hope it'll turn up.

(it had a black pick guard and maple fret board, if anyone sees it in the Nashville area, please let me know).
