It's a book by Daniel J. Levitin. Has anyone else read it? My wife, (non-musician), is in the middle of it, and she's raving about it. Quite the insight to it all. I can't wait to get hold of it when she's done.

Any reviews out there?

I started it before the most recent semester kicked in. Until this semester is done, my reading choices are being dictated by college. Looking forward to getting back into it though.

I did find it a tad irritating to read some of the remedial stuff about what sound/music physically is. I thought about skipping that step as I already know it, but I really hate skipping portions of books when reading pop-science books.
