Your Definition?

Hello Everyone!

I just thought i'd ask this question as me and my musical friends had a discussion about this the other day.

What is Your definition of 'Musician?' My friend said someone with grades in music, but i said, "Jimi hendrix or many other famous musicians never had grades" And i just couldnt think of a definition? I looked online (I Got Bored :P) And it said, " A Person who is talented or skilled in music," But there are many famous musicians that arent really talented at all? Or they may be talented but a little sloppy *Cough* Cliff Burton *Cough*

But Back to the question, What Is Your definition Of A 'Musician?'

Hi.

For me a musician is anyone who performs music, either for his/her own enjoyment, or for an audience.

For me it doesn't matter whether they're talented or not, and even less whether they have a formal education or not.

I'm not entirely sure, but I have a hunch that the school called life was the sole education most of my favourite blues and rock musicians had .
