I'm sorry if this has come up many times. Tried searching but I can't find it.
What basslines do you find the most enjoyable to play?
In my limited experience, my favorite so far is: Good Times. |

The first one is an original by my band, and i play the bass slightly different in the verse nowadays, makes it more fun, and Are You Gonna be My Girl is just so good to play live.

Summer Skin - Death Cab For Cutie
Children In Bloom - Counting Crows
Old Man Kensey - REM
Newborn - Muse
Hysteria - Muse (okay, that's not so simple)

Interesting note, I'm using Newborn to motivate my fiance to learn guitar properly so we can play together. So that's a bassline I'm going to HAVE to learn. (Along with pretty much every other muse bassline.) |

Portrait of tracy, it is the song that made me start to play bass!
Favorite bass line to perform with my function band:
sweet child of mine, not the hardest or most technical but i just love the way we play that song!
Guitar player nails the solos like no one i ever saw, drummer is fat and loud and i just feel great laying the foundation of so much rock n' roll! |
