My favorite drummer is Tommy Lee. I have lots of others but - I watched him on VH1 just play...by himself...no gimmicks...he is incredible.

Outside of the jazz realm, the drummer who has probably influenced me the most as a bassist is Tower of Power's David Garibaldi because he changed the way I think about the rhythmic responsibilities shared by the drummer and bassist. |
