Your Favourite Song of All Time?

And I mean ONE song. The one.

For me its "Light My Fire" -The Doors.

I was in a band that played that song and I've played it many, many times. Even so I never change the station when it comes on. Absolutely love it.

What is your ONE desert island song?

Man, it's tough to pick JUST one! I guess I can go with my favorite song from my favorite band, and that would be Cream's "Politician." Probaly one of the greatest riffs in rock, and Jack's vocals are amazing!

We were born to be loved by Kings X. That weird assed time thing at the end just mystifies me.

I choose not to have a favourite song, there's just too much good music out there

Right now, it's probably "Love Will Tear Us Apart" by Joy Division, though it might be a different song six months frrom now. Last winter, it was the Beatles' "A Day in the Life."

hmmm... all time is tough... i would say "Comfortably Numb" - Pink Floyd... love the vibe, lyrics and the guitar solo at the end sends shivers up my spine.

I would prefer no music on my desert island to having only one song to listen to repeatedly.

No offense, but listening to this more than 2-3 times would cause me to eat my own head, cutting sort the inevitable madness. Winner!

Well, the idea is that if you could choose to listen to one and only one song, which would it be. If I had to listen to one song over and over again it would drive me nuts too.

Although I remember one night where I listened to "White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane about 30 times in a row. Love that song too. (oops, better not break my own rules!)

Can I at least listen to multiple versions of the one tune? I could be pretty happy with that...

I suppose, but really it should be just the one version of the one song. Otherwise, its like "I like this one, oh and this one, oh and this one is really cool too."

Make a choice people!
