youtube copyright question

so my girlfriend took a few short videos of various songs my band played at our gig last friday, and I was just wondering--I would like to show them to my friends, but the problem is, they are covers, and I was wondering how that lines up with youtube's copyright rules. I know there are tons of bands covering other band's music on youtube, so whats going on with that?

The worst they would ever do is remove them. 75% of the stuff on youtube is copyrighted anways.

Agreed. If youtube decides it's an infringement, they'll remove the video and email you.
