100 degrees in the shade - hurt bass?

Friends,
My church band has an outdoor gig this Saturday in Plano, TX (Dallas area) and it will be around 100 degrees that day. We are playing tunes that I know well enough to play on the bass or the slab and nobody but me cares which one I play. My bass is a three year old Christopher hybrid that I have taken better care of than my own flesh and blood children. Do you think that the bass will be okay if I keep it outside in the shade for about 3 or 4 hours?

Thanks . . .

No problem. Just keep it out of direct sunlight, that might soften the glue joints!

I would be careful about going from 100 degrees high humidity into a cool air conditioned building with it tho.
