Alfred Hitchcock

"The Wrong Man" that's a cool Hitchcock film that features a bassist wrongly accused of murder.

You guys know any other bass related Hitchcock trivia? It seems that Alfred made more than a few cameos of himself with a double bass over the years.

In "Strangers on a Train" he does his cameo carrying a bass- I assume because it had similar proportions.

Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis play two witnesses to the Valentine's massacre and become part of an all-girl orchestra including Marilyn Monroe in "Some Like it Hot". JL is the bass player, TC - sax. BTW, The Wrong Man is based on a true story which is talked about on the DVD.
