That All-Girl Vibes Video?

I am trying to track down that YouTube video that Talk Bass posted a link to, within the last few months I think. It was an old video of an all-female vibraphone (or xylophone?) band, but the band leader and main vibes player was a guy. It featured a crazy bassist who came down out front during his solo and did a lot of exaggerated, flamboyant arm movements and mugged for the camera.

If anybody remembers this, and you've still got the link, could you post it here? I'd like to track it down. Thanks.

Yeah it's here somewhere. I think we had contact with one of children of one of the women, or something like that. Very interesting. Keep searching.

Hey, thanks a lot for the quick help, folks. I appreciate it. I've got a friend who plays vibes (he's mainly a drummer), who's gonna love this. I got an e-mail from him today and it just popped into my head, I should send him this video.

Much obliged . . .

Lefty or?

In this video, his right hand is on the neck, and his left hand plucks the strings. In another video (a study in brown), his hands are the opposite. MY

Yes I noticed that too. Some how the entire video is flipped. He was stage left on the one I saw.

Yeah the whole thing is a mirror image. Another clue is the marimbas - the bars increase in size from the performers' left to right. So the low notes are where the high notes should be, and vice versa.
