Strings: Belcantos
Pick up: Planet Wing
Amp: EA Doubler, VL208
Well that's my bass set up.....
I started this thread to thank everyone for their input over the years on all the aspects of my venture. I decided to get back into playing the DB back in 2006 and started by purchasing a bass in January 2007. I've spent many hours reading through the threads, asking questions and sometimes being made fun of for the stupid questions.
I spent about two years taking lessons which is now taking a back seat to my 10 month old son. I will return to it, practicing as time allows and playing regularly with a jazz quartet.
There is a lot to be done in terms of my playing but I am very satisified with all my gear and progress as a player.
Again guys thanks for all the help, I am very grateful to all who have helped out!

When my son was 10 months, I'd often put a playpen full of fun soft toys in the music room and practice while he was in that. Another good strategy is to practice in a room where toddler-TV shows are playing with the sound down. Enjoy this time, and practice when you can. |

BTW - It's time for me to unsubscribe to the majority of the string megathreads! Thankfully I've lost interest in them..
