Bad dream

I had my first bass "nightmare" last night. I forgot exactly what I was doing with it but it involved a small flame and my Christopher. Then some time passed and I looked at the bass again and all the finish had disappeared and it looked sorta ok from the outside yet there was a smoky smell coming from the F-Holes. I picked up the bass and found that it was smoldering from the inside and began to split like how charcoal splits - but still in the white.

What does it mean!??!!?

I could mean that you are burned out and need to give it a rest. Or your playing might just be 'burnin'...........

I dreamed last week that one of my basses, Helga, had a certain 'flow' from the endpin hole. After seeing a specialist luthier, we were referred to a doctor in Brazil who did the corrective surgery. I woke up thinking it might be time to reassess my personal attachments. I never should have named her...................

My sources advise that you lay off of the BBQ and Beer for awhile.

Maybe you should lay off the tritones for a few days!

It's telling you to set fire to your Christopher, collect the insurance on it (assuming you bought some), and buy yourself a nice Italian bass.
