I have a small favor to ask of all of you, if you had maybe two or three minutes of free time in the next 51 days. I really hate pushing stuff like this, but it is a potentially good opportunity for me to get some money to support artistic endeavors.
The Baker Artist Awards are for Baltimore-based artists to receive money, sort of like a grant. The strange thing about it is the artists aren't decided by merit for the most part, they are decided through a public voting process. Sort of like an artistic popularity contest for cash. Only Baltimore artists are eligible, but you can vote from anywhere in the world, I believe.
So, what I ask of you (if you have the time, sorry to be a bother) is to go to the site, register (it really takes a minute or two), and vote for my profile. It would be even better if you had time to check out the stuff and give me some feedback, but now I am getting demanding! Thanks to everyone for the support, and I appreciate your help.
