Bass Bag/Cover Help

My current bass bag is about 9 years old. The handles and zippers are still in good shape, but the padding inside has shifted and now leaves some edges unprotected. Is there any way of fixing this, or do I have to give in to buying a new one?

can i ask what king of bag you are using that you got 9 years out of??

Kolstein. I have to say though, I noticed the padding problem beginning sometime ago, but it was minor. It's worrisome now.
