Bass Barbecue

No, we're not going to barbecue the bass.

This is the First Annual Bass Barbecue for bass players, spouse, partner, significant other or good friend.

Where: My daughter's house (bless her).

129 Thomas Drive
Sycamore, Illinos
60178
She has a large back yard and a covered area in case it rains.

When: Sunday, August 23, 2009 from 1:00 'till 6:00 or whenever.

We will barbecue a pork shoulder or more, you bring a side and what you like to drink. I'll even have some Boca Burgers on hand for those who don't eat meat, or bring your own specialty.

Also, bring your bass (not a requirement) to show and play, and I'll be happy to look at it if you have any questions about provence, conditon etc.

This is mainly about bass players getting together at the end of the summer to meet each other and have some fun.

Please RSVP: martin@martinsheridan.com; so we have an idea of how many will come.
all best,
martin sheridan

ok

You bring the Palentino, I'll toss it. Come to think of it, I have an axe handy. Some people like hickory chips, some like mesquite, some like it hot, and some might like the flavor of Palentino?

All right . . .

Late August
corn
Blue sky
corn
The hearland of Illinois
corn
A bucolic setting reminding one of older times, relaxed living, family values.
corn

There's a kernel of truth to be gained here.

And . . . more pork than in the Illinois state budget.

Come one come all. . .

I'm afraid that smoke might be toxic.
