 Bass in Goettingen, Germany
Hello bass talkers,
I'm an amateur player. My wife is planning on doing a PhD at Goettingen university, which means we're going to relocate for a year. I've been thinking of using this opportunity in order to take a break from real life and just play bass all day long (assuming she gets a big enough scholarship to support us both).
I play both classical and Jazz, and I have room for improvement in both idioms (I would prefare dedicating this year to classical playing).
Do any of you know of any teachers or music programs in Goettingen?
How about issues of renting/buying an instrument?
Assuming I do find a program, how does one normally go about auditioning for a program from overseas?
Any input would be great help. Thanks
