Exclamation Bass Websites

Hey everbody,
I keep running into new websites everyday and then I think "Man I wish I woulda seen this a long time ago!" So I was wondering if everyone would share some of the other websites they visit that have helped them with bass playing or could help others. I'll start with the obvious www.gollihur.com

Thanks,
Mike

I heard the other day that you can actually buy stuff on the Internet! Like anyone would do that.

Re other sites: Well, there is the Dudepit... if you like that sort of thing...

This is straight from rockabillybass.com:

http://groups.google.com/group/bgBass-L

also quoted from rbb.com:
"...several well-respected Bluegrass bassists contribute to this (the above) discussion group. This site a general BG site with a bass section. The site adminisrator is a bassist also. Good site check it out."

Also, check out the videos of Willie Dixon on youtube.com if you get the chance. This one in particular:

Cool Bass Websites..

I have a few pages on Basses if you like looking. This is not an ad as this is mainly my hobby! http://www.kensmithbasses.com/Double...ble_basses.htm

Also, I have authored a few threads on DBs of interest as well as many more if you search for them including %ers and Extensions etc. Here's the two latest Threads; Prescotts and other 1800s Yankee Basses
http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=237318

More here: The Talkbasses v.2 (bass eye candy collection)
and here; Database for old instruments.

If you have a special interest just ask and someone will point you in the right direction.

If you want to learn a bit more about some of our friends here at TB, a great way to do it is to click on their name, and then link to their personal websites. It's a good way to link a sound to someone whom you may otherwise know only through their communication in these forums. Some examples that jump out at me offhand are great sites by Chris Fitzgerald, Ray Parker, and Alexi David. There are many more.

Ken's contributions to this website can not be overstated. I've really learned a lot about great old basses from his frequent posts here.

Hey... sorry I haven't checked on TB for a while, thank you for all the response! Even though I have a teacher, teacher's are not all knowing (most of the time) so I like getting all this perspective. I also psoted this in the BG forum and it got a lot less response, yet another reason I believe DB is the best instrument yet created Thanks again guys!
