Beethoven related

The other night I stumbled across the movie 'Immortal Beloved' and it got me wondering (again) if there have been any good documentaries made on the life, talent of my all time favorite composer/musician.

I was just watching a English-dubbed German documentary w/ some period acting the other night. It was about 2 in the morning, and it was on public television under DW, a German media company.

Thanks. Lyn Seaton gave me a heads up to an upcoming documentary called 'In Search of Beethoven' that looks to be quite promising.

As bassist14 said, DW stands for Deutsche Welle.

It's a media company, but I don't know if they produced that documentary or not. I think the second part is supposed to be on this weekend.
