Best source for finding jazz gigs to attend in NY/Las Vegas/L.A

Hey all!
I'll be in the states from the 26th of November till the 23rd of December and will be spending a week in New York between the 1st and 7th.
I've checked out the big venues and their schedule (Smalls/Jazz Standard etc) but I was also curious to where the more undercover gigs will be.
In your opinion what is the best place on the internet/news publication to get an overview for what is happening while I'm there?
Also if anyone has any particular must see gigs/recommendations for NY (as well as Las Vegas/Anaheim chuck them forward!

As far as NYC goes, this is the most comprehensive publication for what's happening. The print version can be found at most any 'jazz' venue.
