Best USB turntable?

I'm sort of checking these out. Stanton makes a nice one, the t.90 and I think Numark makes a cheap model. Anyone have any experience with either of these. I'd love to start converting my old vinyl to live on my macbook pro.

I have the Numark. It works fine. I've found the best way to record is to play at regular speed, which is unfortunate because that takes quite a bit of time. But the quality of sound is good.

My experience is that these are all marginal turntables, serviceable but in no way delivering really good sound. A $100 interface from Edirol or someone else, combined with a good turntable, will give much better results. Audacity can dial in the RIAA EQ curve, or you can just take the line out from your preamp/receiver.

agreed, spend £50 on a good soundcard and link up your existing turntable to your computer using that, it still takes the same amount of time, will sound better and as an added bonus you can now make quality recordings with your computer!
