Betcha by golly wow?

I know its a Maria Carey question but.......
On "the Emancipation of Mimi" Album there is a track called "Stay the night" which samples ( it says ) from "Betcha by golly wow". but.... Who's version?

Its a fast punchy jazzy DB sound.

Fast? Or fat?
I know that there's a duo version that Steve Rodby and Ross Traut did that sounds good. Actually their whole take on the MoTown thang makes me pretty happy....

definatly not the stylistics version. Although the same notes are played. This one really pumps. Wish I could post it.

Sorry, though....I haven't heard Steve Rodby's or Harry Carey's version. We just sort of came up with our own thang, based on the Stylistics' version.

Oops, sorry..... of course I meant to say Harry Caray.
