Big Bass, Small Car

Yesterday I went out to a jam session with some friends. The only car I could get to take me and my upright over there was the Camry. Somehow, I managed to get the entire upright within the car (very tight fit) by putting some seats down and playing car tetris. Coming home, I was inspired to do a thread about this. So all of you bassists with smaller sized cars come in here and tell us how you do it.

I've been driving to gigs for years in a '97 Honda Civic hatchback. It holds the bass, stool, amp, and dolly easily. Sometimes I've even taken a second cab and a slab along for the ride. People often stop and stare when they see me walking toward the car with the bass in tow.

I have a VW GTI for my new Willow. I have to fold down back seats and the bass goes in between the front seats by about 6 inches but does not get in the way of shifting. I can fit a slab, a small amp set up as well if necessary although have hardly played slab since I got the Willow. There's a couple of threads on the topic.

Please...Not again.
We've beat this horse to DEATH for so many years.....I can't stand anymore!

I'm thinking of Bumping another thread just to dump this one, but that seems to be mentally unhealthy.
There have been, IMO, some really nice threads coming out of this Forum Heading lately. Why trash it all now?
Worse than anything, you're practically inviting the bass guitarists back over again to tell you how many amps and pedals they can get into their cars. Not to mention jokes and pictures of motorcycles and tattoo's.

We've all been to the circus before.......

PS...Sorry man, I just started my period.
Please do a TB Search (Theads) under Mini Cooper.....down to about the middle of the page.
Nicey, nicey...
