Book suggestion

So I'm going away this weekend and could use a suggestion for a good read. I just finished Glenn Kurtz's "Practicing" which I recommend. It's about classical guitar but still very good. Before that I read Victor Wooten's book. Any suggestions of books along those lines??

Effortless Mastery? Never read it but have heard good things. I'm not too into the self-help type books on practicing. Too bad, since it might help if I was! What kind of music are you into? I'd recommend Hip Hop Matters by S. Craig Watkins and Can't Stop Won't Stop by Jeff Chang (both socio-cultural accounts of hip-hop) to anyone interested in popular music (you don't exactly have to be a fan of hip-hop to enjoy those two books). I'd also recommend Bass Culture by Lloyd Bradley to anyone curious about Jamaican music. How about The James Brown Reader (a collection of articles about J.B.)? If not, there's always Harry Potter...
