Charleston South Carolina?

I will be in Charleston on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday this week for my sister's wedding. Does anyone know of anything fun to do there? Any good places to see live jazz?
Thanks

Hey,

There is plenty to do in Charleston. Especially if you are a history buff... there are some really great restaurants- (Magnolias, Bocci, High Cotton, S.N.O.B., Cypress, Sticky Fingers, etc...)

I am not sure about the jazz club, but I am sure there is one. I tried to google the one I used to frequent, but couldn't find it... I believe it was called the Blue Note.

There are some really cool bars, pubs, and etc... You can find a lot of trouble to get into downtown.

Hope that helps,
BG

Frank Duvall seems to have a pretty long running gig around Charleston, google also for a .org group that supports jazz in Charleston to see what's up. The last time I went down (about 4 years ago), Frank was the only straight ahead thing happening locally, the rest was smoov and fuzak. There are a number of national acts coming through from time to time.

Also check out the website for the Coastal Jazz Society, that's mostly Hilton Head and Savannah, but it's driving distance.
