For the visitors of the board who happen to be in Germany in October of 2009:
There will be two memorial concerts for Charlie Mariano who left us on June 16, 2009.
1. 27th: Grillo Theater, Essen, w/ Bobby Stern (saxophone), Philip Catherine (guitar), Jasper van’t Hof (keyboards), Dieter Ilg (bass), Aldo Romano (drums)
2. 28th: Theaterhaus, Stuttgart
• Memorial Band: Bobby Stern (saxophone), Philip Catherine (guitar), Jasper van’t Hof (keyboards), Dieter Ilg (bass), Aldo Romano (drums)
• Karnataka College of Percussion: R.A. Ramamani (vocals), Mike Herting (piano), T.A.S. Mani (percussion), Ramesh Shotham (percussion)
• Stuttgart Jazz Orchestra feat. Wolfgang Dauner plays the Music of Charlie Mariano
• Chaouki Smahi (oud)
