CHICAGO! WHERE'S THE JAZZ? CHICAGO!! WHERE'S THE JAZZ?!

Hello all.

This is directed to all who live in Chicago, or have visited and experienced local music. I'm in town with a bunch of friends for Spring Break, and I'm chomping at the bit to hear some live music. Where are the good spots for jazz music?

Thanks in advance,
James

I think you needed to state the question three or four more times in the header to really get your point across.

Two of my favorite places in town....seems to always be something fun on the calendar.

Edit: It seems Joe Lavano is at the showcase 3/18-3/21 with Esparanza Spaulding.

If you're here now...google Chicago jazz and you'll get a ton of smaller clubs with good local players popping up.
