Clark Terry Documentary
 

I was poking around one day and found that there's a documentary that wrapping up production. Hopefully it'll be out soon.

I had the fortune of seeing Mr. Terry perform and shook his hand backstage several years ago @ the Jazz Gallery, with quite the lineup... Roy Hargrove, Ugonna Okegwo, Stephen Scott, and the drummer I can't remember. Certainly the performance was unforgettable and he's quite the man and musician. He was still walking around at the time and I'm sad to see him in such ill health. Still, I thought the preview is worth sharing.

Can't wait to actually see the full flick.

Sylvia Cuenca was playing with him for awhile. But she's pretty memorable....
