DB in Cleveland?

Does anybody have or know of a decent quality instrument available for one concert performance in Cleveland Heights on August 5?

It would be gently handled and lovingly played by myself .

THANKS, Brian

bass in cleveland

Hi,

I don't have a very nice bass--just a rental chinese laminate (I have a nicer laminate on order from Upton Bass) so I can't help you there, but I live in Cleveland Heights and was curious what the gig was?

I got my rental from Goronok Strings in Cleveland. They also have some nicer basses than mine perhaps for rental.

Cheers,
Chris Hall

Wendell, thanks for the info. I may have something lined up from the Peter Zaret shop. Do you know anything about their shop basses?

I'm playing in a interesting concert by the Yiddish Swingtet which recreates a unique ensemble that combined Klezmer, Swing, Jazz and vocals for Yiddish radio broadcasts that ran thru the 1940's and early'50's. It's at Cain Park on Aug.5. I believe it's being put on by this organization and is part of the weekend long conference.

If you come by say hello,
