DB stripes/decoration

Hope this is the right forum...

What are some options to achieve this white lining around the bass and f holes?
http://www.psychotica.net/zombieghos...-showdown.html

Assuming its on a black-finished cheaper bass, nothing high-end. Decal? Tape? Tape around the area, sand just the area and paint that?

I'm sure there is a...proper..way to do it that would include refinishing the whole bass to get the top layer smooth, but...what are some other, cheaper, easier options?

Thanks

Why not tape it off and spray paint it?

I believe the correct way is Call Brent Norton. He's got that stuff wired.

any special things to watch out for, paint to use? might not need sanding then, if it will stick...

And if I mess up/ change my mind after a little test, would I be able to salvage anything?

Oh, and that Norton site looks cool, but I bet it would cost more money than I paid for the bass originally...

No ideas on that. If the rest of the bass is painted, I would find out what kind of paint is on it and use something compatable, I guess.

Alright, thanks guys. As soon as my bass gets here (being shipped) I'll check it out a little bit more and get some ideas
