| | | Well I got mine today. One metal one and one wood one. I do not fear my endpin breaking through the metal on but I am not sure about the wood one since it has a dent in it already. I am not sure how much they help but I would imagine that they are better than playing on a cement floor  . I have tried to see if I could hear a difference but it was hard to tell.
