For those of you not familiar (and those that are) with sax great Joe Henderson, you must check this out. This is the JH I came up listening to and saw perform many times in the 70's. That's the bad-ass Ratzo Harris on bass, too. This is a lesson in jazz improvisation if there ever was one.

Saw him at that little theatre at Ravinia in the early 90's with this group. Still one of the best live shows I've ever seen.
