Double Bass Rentals/Lessons in N.J. Coast area

Hello all,

I usually come from the BG side here at Talkbass, but I have decided that I want to learn the Big Bass, or doghouse, as it is so commonley reffered to over here.The only problem is I have not the money for an upright bass, so I must rent. Well, this is where I come to you, I am currently living in the Toms River, New Jersey area and I can not seem to find any upright rentals so I figured maybe somebody on TB may know. I am now going to hope for the best, thank you very much in advance for any responses.

You could try Jay Sweet in Howell. I took lessons from him for about a year, good player, good teacher, good guy. He may be able to hook you up with a rental.
