Double bass stool for sale anywhere?!

I'm looking to buy the double bass stool that is pictured on the "accessories" page, center of the middle row on the Lemur website. They don't seem to be selling anymore. Anyone ever use this? Know where it IS for sale? Thx.

Those are nice, but I couldn't imagine schlepping one around...
Definitely a stationary fixture..

Yes I wouldn't shlepp those around either.

But okay.... a warning if anyone else was going to buy from the link to Stacks & Stacks that neilG posted. It's not what I was looking for, and NOT the same as what was being sold on Lemur. I went to the link, sure enough it looks very similar, but it ain't it. It just arrived, and it only goes to a height of a foot and a half or so. Also the seat is not nearly as stable as the one I sat on before. So..... I guess I have to wait for Lemur to carry it again, which said (through Chris Hornung) said they would hopefully have available again in a couple months.

Just wanted to give a heads up... Now I have to figure out about returning this thing.

I should've noted that the last message was meant as no offense to NeilG. I could've easily examined the link and product I was buying more closely to see the height wasn't was "us bassists" would want.

29,

The Lemur stool is definitely worth waiting for. Easy to carry, easy to store, very stable.

thank you yeah i agree. i'm a bit surprised there's only one place selling them, and that there's seemingly not a very high demand for them.
