Doubling on Tuba

How many out there double on tuba? Frankly, I've played tuba longer than DB, having started on trumpet in 5th grade band, then switching to marching souzy as a freshman. And that's after piano lessons for six years starting in April, 1970, and, well, so on and so forth through electric instruments starting as a young teenager, and coming to DB later in life.

The point being is that by playing tuba I've gotten a lot more gigs than I ever would have just playing either EB or DB. For example, my current dance band, the Queen City Dance Band, got a gig last summer for a regional small town Independence Day celebration. Without being able to bring the tuba for the obligatory patriotic numbers and marches, the gig would not have been nearly as well received.

So, how many others out there are viable tuba doublers?

I play tuba in high school concert band along with double bass. I would march sousa, but marching isn't viable with my vision problems.

Tuba is actually my best instrument. I play in a professional symphony and teach lessons for a living.
